I've finished the conversion but haven't changed the links on the library website yet. You can reach the new pages at
http://library.austincc.edu/help/infoLit/
Essentially, I've moved everything to the /help/ folder. I'll make a schematic so that if you want to edit a page, you can find it now. After your review, I'll archive these folders in the /gen-info/ folder. Please send comments and corrections to me.
Note: Be sure that, when editing, you use the actual file from the server folder and do not download a file from your browser. This will help retain the includes code that is in the file. If for no other reason, it will help deactivate the Chat Live link during intersessions on all of these pages.

New Catalog loaded
The new catalog is loaded and appears to be running smoothly.
Any issues should be directed to Margaret for resolution.
Content Cafe book covers subscription is set to be activated today by iii. This will replace our current Syndetics subscription. [Completed 12:35pm 1/18/2010]

Issue:
(On I.E. browser only) when logged in and then choosing to search an index, the search screen font was bold and red.
Troubleshooting:
Examined the source of the pertinent files and could not determine what was causing the problem.
Solution: wrapped the page content in a division style for black normal font.
22.2 Fix Patron Record link in sidebar
Issue:
The "return to patron record" link in the sidebar would take patron to the log in screen rather than back to the patron record.
Solution:
Used the token
to make it work properly. This generates a
button rather than a simple link. It worked but caused another problem:
The "logout" token above the patron record button
unfortunately does NOT generate a similar button but creats a normal link
that now looked strange and seemed to imply that clicking the patron record
button right below it would log one out.
Solution:
Using a button I had created for the last catalog release, I created a
logout button link which works fine and looks better.
